Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide from HEC Kilimanjaro and Safaris LTD. After a private transfer to your lodge in Arusha, you will have time to relax after your international flight.

Later in the evening, enjoy a detailed safari briefing covering your journey, wildlife expectations, and safety guidelines. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant populations. Upon entering the park, enjoy your first game drive, spotting giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and predators such as lions and leopards.

The Tarangire River attracts abundant wildlife, especially during the dry season, making game viewing exceptional. After an afternoon game drive, continue to your lodge located near or within the park.

Day 3: Tarangire – Walking Safari & Night Game Drive

Day 5: Karatu – Cultural Experience

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Full-Day Safari
